Defining
Go over the Marking Criteria as this will help you focus on what is required.
(What do I really need to find out?)

What do you already know?

Locating

Library Catalogue
This blog has resources
TROVE
World Book
Open web searchers (make sure the sites you visit have an author for your bibliography)
Ask Ms Jensen (Librarian)

Selecting
(What information do I really need to use?)
Go back to the Marking Criteria and make sure you are on task.
Go back to the Task and make sure you are focusing on this.
Is the information an authrative source.

Organising
(How can I use this information)
Write notes from your sources to avoid plagiarism.
Use Quotes if you need to have the exact words.
Ms Jensen can help with all of these skills.

Presenting
(How can I present this informaiton)
This is when you get to put your view forward with informaiton gathered from your sources.
Read the information that is important again and try to paraphrase the information so it is in your own words.

Assessing
(What did I learn from this?)
Did you run out of time?
Could you find good sources?
